I am currently enrolled at Peninsula College to fulfill my lifelong dream of becoming a paralegal.
Currently, I work as a Legal Office Assistant at the Attorney General’s office in Port Angeles. In this role I am responsible for performing technical legal assignments, providing clerical support, and facilitating interactions with various parties involved in legal matters. Part of my role involves preparing motions for the court, e-filing documents with the court, greeting clients, answering calls, processing legal documents, performing case docketing functions, and handling administrative tasks. Overall, my role contributes to the office’s smooth functioning and supports legal professionals.
In my new role at the Attorney General’s office, I hope to continue refining my legal skills, expanding my knowledge of legal procedures and documentation, and developing a deeper understanding of the intricacies of the legal system. I aspire to contribute to the effective delivery of legal services and gain hands-on experience in various aspects of legal practice while earning my degree. Additionally, I aim to establish strong professional connections within the legal community and further develop my professional growth in the field of law.
